By submitting User Content through our website, you agree to the following terms:

1. Ownership and Permission

You confirm that any content you upload:

  • You have obtained full permission from the rightful owner to use it

If the content includes identifiable individuals (such as children or other persons), you confirm that you have the necessary consent to use their image.

SalsaHippo does not verify ownership or permissions and relies on your representations.

2. Limited License to Use Content

By submitting User Content, you grant SalsaHippo a limited, non-exclusive, and royalty-free license to:

  • Use, process, and modify the content

  • Create and produce your custom product

  • Fulfill and deliver your order

This license is strictly for order fulfillment purposes.

We do not use your content for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes without your explicit consent.

3. Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload or submit content that:

  • Infringes on any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights

  • Includes protected characters, logos, or brands (e.g., Disney, Marvel, or similar)

  • Contains offensive, illegal, or inappropriate material

  • Violates any applicable laws or regulations

SalsaHippo reserves the right to reject or cancel orders that include prohibited content.

4. Customer Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all User Content submitted.

This includes:

  • Ensuring image quality is suitable for printing

  • Verifying that all details (names, spelling, selections) are accurate

  • Confirming that uploaded content meets our requirements

We are not responsible for issues arising from:

  • Low-resolution or unclear images

  • Cropped, distorted, or poorly formatted uploads

  • Incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer

5. Artistic Interpretation

Our products involve creative design and illustration.

By submitting User Content, you acknowledge that:

  • The final product is an artistic interpretation of your submission

  • Exact replication of images is not guaranteed

  • Layout, colors, and design elements may vary based on our creative process

6. Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or request changes to any order that:

  • Violates this policy

  • Contains questionable or restricted content

  • Cannot be processed due to technical or quality limitations

If an order is canceled for these reasons, we will notify you and provide next steps where applicable.

7. Data Handling and Storage

Uploaded content may be stored temporarily for the purpose of:

  • Processing your order

  • Revisions (if applicable)

  • Customer support

We take reasonable steps to protect your data and do not retain content longer than necessary.
